ISHP Lottery

purpose, Rules, & Winners

Purpose & Prize:

ISHP sponsors a Lottery drawing at each meeting to give away a free "full meeting" registration to one pharmacist member and one technician member who have been ISHP members for at least 3 consecutive years. 

The purpose of this lottery is to encourage continuous membership.  There are some members who join only when they come to a meeting, and can only attend a meeting every other year due to work schedules.  We hope this lottery helps encourage our members to renew every year.

This lottery is particularly good for ISU College of Pharmacy students, whose dues are paid through the college for four years, so a new ISU graduate pharmacist (whose dues are also reduced during the first 3 ISHP membership years), are eligible for the Lottery starting their first year after graduation, and every year thereafter, so long as membership is continuously maintained.

We need your membership every year and, after 3 consecutive years of membership, you are eligible for the Lottery.     

 Lottery Rules:

1. Drawing at each meeting (Spring & Fall)
2. One for Pharmacist Members; one for Technician Members
3. Winners receive a certificate good for one free “full meeting” registration to an upcoming ISHP meeting of choice
4. The Certificate must be used within 13 months (e.g. a fall winner can use it for following spring meeting or the following fall meeting.)
5. To be eligible, the membership must be current & the member must have continuously maintained ISHP membership for the past 3 consecutive membership years.
6. Board Members & paid staff are not eligible, but any other pharmacist or technician member is eligible.
7. Student members & non-pharmacist members are not eligible.
8. You need not be present to win.
9. The Certificate is transferable by a winner to anybody else, if the winner is unable to use the Certificate within the time allowed.
10. $1.00 cash value
